Get involved as alumni

Action Learning beyond graduation

Many alumni cite Action Learning as a highlight of their time at MIT Sloan. Fortunately for them and the Action Learning team, their participation doesn’t need to end at graduation. For those interested in maintaining rich and fruitful interactions with students and faculty— and gaining student teams’ insights into real-world problems—there are several ways to stay involved.

Remain involved

After completing your MIT Sloan degree, you can become involved and guide students on their own learning journeys in multiple ways:

  • Host a gathering for students with leaders from your company, region, or industry to support student learning, understanding and research.
  • Join a class or event as a guest speaker; share your relevant business experiences and discuss topical problems and solutions with students. Read more
  • Mentor an Action Learning student team; this requires more of a time commitment, (between 10-20 hours per team) but as our mentors will attest, it is well worth it.
